I just bought what I think is a 1936 Pontiac Sedan, 4 door, Flathead 6. The ID plate is missing, and the VIN is missing the critical first 3 numbers. I am trying to determine the style of this vehicle (Touring or no/Master or Deluxe) I looked through some of the online manuals and other posts and didn't see a list of differences between the styles. Anyone know where there is a list of specs? Thank you. _________________

First question I have is.... V6?!? That's not right. They were flathead 6s or 8s in 1936. Engine swap?
Anywho.... below is a copy of what will probably help you identify the style/model of your '36. It is from John Gunnell's "Standard Catalog of Pontiac." _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |
