looking for a carburetor for my 1963 Catalinawith factory ai

I need a Rochester 2 barrel carb for my 1963 Catalina, but I am getting conflicting info about what should be on there, according to my carb. man
I need a carb that has the choke up on top but every thing I find has the choke on the base..Thanks of the carb and will not work because of the brackets for the air can some body please tell me what to do..Thanks

There you will find the second item listed that covers your car.

I have never seen a choke in the base of a carb, only the throttle plates. The choke is always on the top. The parts list will show the carb number that you need.

Without complete info, I would still almost bet just about any Pontiac 2-bbl carb would work on your car. They were all pretty much the same.
