1952 Pontiac cheiftain convertible - need a little help

I am helping a friend sell his collection and included in the collection is a 52 Cheiftain deluxe convertible. I was hoping to get a little more information on the car from people that know these cars. I have some pictures from before the restoration in 1996 that show the car was yellow, but with some chrome trim removed I can see that it was red before it was yellow. The paint number on the vin plate says 5206 witch I believe is Cherokee Red. I can't find another car that color to compare to the current color.
Also just wanted to see if anyone else could point out anything not correct or have any input on a ball park value for the car.

You are correct on the red color. If you check in the Tech Date forum we have the paint codes shown, and the 5206 is Cherokee Red. Better than yellow!

This is a car that, if as nice underneath and throughout, should be worth a good chunk. I assume it is an 8-cylinder and all is in good operating condition. If it is truly a #2 condition car (hardly any are ever really a #1), it should be in the $30k+ range. Again, if al is as nice as it looks in just one photo.

For the amount of money we are talking about, a professional appraisal would be worth the money. I can recommend someone if you like.
