Is there a source for trunk pans that will fit my 66 Catalina 2 dr ht ?

I read somwhere or heard that I could use the Three Piece After Market pans for a 66 Chevy 2 dr ht. These are readily available but I can't find anything for the Pontiac

Somebody has to have an after market version, right?

Thanks Y'all...

I remember (?) hearing something about the Chevy pans too, except for some detail differences, working.

I bet "duncan2plus2" knows. Got your ears on?

I see Pontiac Paridise mentioning in another post trunk items for up to 1964. Perhaps he has some info on the later items too. Worth asking. Check for contact info in our "AFFILIATES" then "Member Discounts." They are a great source for many Pontiac services and parts... plus a discount to our members. Can't beat that!

Let us know what you learn. This is valuable research for others coming behind you with their projects.

Hi Larry,
sorry for the slow response...had to travel back to IL for a funeral.

I have not personally used a Chevy trunk pan, but was told by another 66 Pontiac guy that he did and the only difference was the stamping pattern. he said it was a good fit for aftermarket pans...still a lot of work. If I remember correctly, he bought the pans from Classic Industries, but it has been quite a while.
I also remember him saying he had a body shop do the work.

Hope this helps.

Duncan

I contacted Les from Pontiac Paradise and he doesen't have'em but gave me a couple of people at "Classic 2 Current " to contact. I will be in touch with them soon. There is a good posibility that this co will have these pans available, if not right now, soon...

Will let you know as soon as I find out.

If not, will probably use the Chevy pans.

Thanks for the info guys!

Don't know if you are still looking for a '66 Catalina floor pan, but there is a repro on ebay for a Bonneville that says can be cut down to fit a Cat.

Ebay item # 280481882069
Hope this helps

Did you check with "Classic-2-Current?" They have tons of pans and other sheet metal that they reproduce.

They are one of our newest Featured Commercial Suppliers and we have a dealer account set up with them. Let me know if they have what you need and I will help you get the dealer discount price.

Check under "AFFILIATES" then "Member Discounts" "Parts." From the write up you can go to their web site.
