I'm always cautious about making a first post on a forum and it being a "For Sale" post but I really don't have any better way I know of to get the word out to other Pontiac enthusiasts about my car. If this offends anyone, I apologize. I don't buy and sell cars to make a buck, I'm not a dealer, and I've owned this car for over 30 years. I am a long time and respected member of Pennocks Fiero Forum with over 10,000 posts there and a long history of fair dealings and a helpful attitude.

My Grand Am has been sitting patiently waiting for restoration and after looking at it a few weeks ago, I was broken hearted to see how much it had deteriorated.

That said, right now, it's a very, very good candidate for restoration or doing a resto-rod type conversion. The panels are there and straight, there is only light surface rust and paint bubbling on a few areas, it has five honeycomb wheels (the spare in like new condition), the trim parts all there. IOW, it needs a lot of TLC, a new nose, and someone that cares about it now.

I'm hoping to get $4,000 for the car. Here is a LINK that will take you to a lot more information on the car. The car is currently on Ebay and you're welcome to bid on it there, but if you don't like Ebay we can work out a deal privately and I can end the auction early. Here's a LINK to the Ebay auction or you can search for item #160323940908 if the link doesn't work for some reason.

In the last 5 years, I have built 4 different show cars. If any of you went to the Starbird Show in Tulsa you may have seen my red, rebodied Pontiac Fiero Roadster in the center aisle in one of the feature displays towards the stage. The same Fiero won 2nd Best Custom at the Starbird show in Wichita, KS, and "Darryl's Personal Choice Award" for his favorite car at the show. It also won it's class twice at World of Wheels shows. That car has been sold and to be honest, I have been burned out on shows. I only mention this other car so that it might help you to know that when I say the car would make a great candidate for restoration or resto-rod, I really do know what I'm talking about.

We are currently into open road racing, autocross, and closed course road racing and race an '86 Pontiac Fiero with a race prepped Cadillac Northstar. I only have one of the show cars left, that we do drive to shows, and that's all I really want. Realistically, the Grand Am is at least 5 years and probably closer to 10 years away from me being ready to restore it and by that time I fear there won't be enough left of it to feasibly restore. It needs to go to a good home NOW.

It runs and drives fine, the work it needs is cosmetic, but the web page and the Ebay auction give you all the details you need.

I'm a very respected member of Pennocks Fiero Forum with over 10,000 posts there with many positive dealings with members over there buying, selling, and even giving away parts and tools to other members.

Hopefully, someone here will give my baby a good home. It's been a hard decision to let her go, but she really needs someone that is going to start working on her asap.
