Good site. Unfortunately, I own a 1967 Pontiac Parisienne (Canadian vehicle). Need information on the Canadian line of Pontiacs. _________________ |

We do have a Canadian Pontiac Technical Advisor and some members also blessed with the North of the Border Ponchos.
If you and enough others would show an interest, we would be happy to put up a forum section dedicated to the Canadian Pontiacs to try to accumulate information that can help others.
We have done quite a few articles in our On-Line Magazine about the Canadian Pontiacs. Did you see the great article in the June "Cover" Car Feature with two Parisiennes? Bet you'd enjoy it!
How about it? Care to help develop a Canadian Pontiac section? _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |

I have a Canadian built 1957 Pontiac Pathfinder Deluxe sedan. Built in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Powered by the standard base engine, which was a 261 cu.in. inline six cylinder motor, 148 h.p. with the standard 3 speed stick on the column. My car is loaded with factory and dealer accessories. I have owned the car since May 1996 and completed the original restoration May 1998. I show the car and enjoy driving on average 3,000 miles a year to car shows and cruise nights. My car was one of just under 49,000 1957 Pontiac's built that year. I love all Pontiac's American and Canadian but the sweet thing about my Canadian Pontiac is that mechanical and even some sheet metal parts are so easy to find, considering they are based on Chevrolet's. I for one would love a Forum on Canadian based Pontiac's on this great site. Cheers. George. |

Your '57 North of the Border Pontiac sounds great. And, best of all, you're having fun with it (well, when it's warm outside, that is).
Your suggestion of a Canadian Forum here is a good one. We will add one right away (perhaps even later today). If you have any other Pontiac friends, please invite them to check out PontiacRegistry.com and the new forum. They are all open to the public now, but we have a lot more to offer that everyone can enjoy, so membership support is a plus too.
If you would like a couple years free PontiacRegistry.com membership, just put together a nice story about you and your Pontiac with some good photos, and we'll use it for one of our monthly "Cover" Car Features. e can do it all by e-mail too. Check it out in our On-Line Magazine to see what others have done.
Thanks for your registration, participation, and great suggestion. _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |
