|
A member asked about the data tag on his '57 Bonneville.
It has a "57-2867SDTX" on the model line. However, all information I can find only shows the '57 Fuelie as "SDX." The Star Chief (non-Bonneville) convertible is "2867DTX."
Another one from a recent ebay sale is the same (see below). Have we been wrong all these years with the SDX suffix?
Any thoughts? _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |

Hey Larry!
I see that this is an old post, but I just stumbled upon it. Our 57 Bonneville is a DTX as well. Have you discovered anything else during the past five years regarding these data plate numbers?

Hi John,
Not much to say about those plates, and the '57 fuelie bunch is pretty small. Hearing much from them is rare.
I see the fuel pump issue you have and will try to do some checking into that. _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |
