I had some questions to ask in reference to the 10th anniversary Trans-Am. I know this information is probably readily available in Pontiac publications and websites, but I would like to pick at the brains of some members.
How many 10th anniversary Trans-Ams were produced?
How many were offered with the 403 Oldsmobile engine and how many were offered with the 400 Pontiac?
What were these engines horsepower ratings?
Was the 400 Pontiac engine the only combination available with a 4-speed? I thought I had heard this fact before. What gear box did they offer?
What optional equipment could be purchased with the 10th anniversary package?
What was the suggested or manufacturers retail for these cars?
What gear ratio did these cars have available?
Were 4-wheel disc brakes offered?
I have always enjoyed the 10th anniversary Trans-Ams. Just wanted to become a little more educated on these unique cars.
Thanks,
Jeff

Thank you for the quick response to my questions. I will pick up a book or two on the subject. I am very familiar with a lot of T/A history, just not an expert on this car.
Thanks again,
Jeff |

Hey guys,
I anyone has noticed, we "affiliated" with Amazon.com for books and such. I figured it wouldn't hurt giving our members and visitors a direct link into the biggest book business on-line. Additionally PontiacRegistry.com can earn a small commission on sales.
Go to http://www.pontiacregistry.com/index.php?content=pontiac_books
(see "Pontiac Books" in our navigation bar under "Pontiac Information").
Click on any one of the books and when the page opens do a search for Firebird; I found all the books mentioned.
Thanks,
Larry |
