Pontiac Racing Points System For 2007

During the "Indian Uprising" event held in Kansas, Tom Wilhite had mentioned a points chase for the 2007 racing season. Four races were mentioned to participate in the points system. This was only at a discussion level at the time. They were going to try and pick up sponsors to give out awards at the end of the season.

Sikeston, MO - "Trail of Tears" - Larry Cooper

Arkansas City, KS - "Indian Uprising" - Tom & Sharon Wilhite

Tulsa, OK - "POCI" drag event - Larry Crider

An event held in Iowa with the track located in Nebraska?????

Does any members have valuable information in reference to this?

I believe this would be a good draw for several Pontiac racers. Please let everyone know if you have any information pertaining to this.

I haven't heard him talk of this at all, but haven't seen him in at least 3 weeks either. With all the rain and cold weather we haven't been able to make to to a track for any racing. Just as soon as I see or talk to him again, I'll be sure to discuss this with him and see what he knows.

The Nebraska Event is not going to participate in this. I just found this out from Larry Crider, the event coordinator for the national POCI event in Tulsa.

I am still not aware of the other tracks doing this.

Thank you for checking with Larry Cooper. Hope these guys get sponsorship together and can do this. Sure would be a great thing.
