Pontiac Performance or Pufformance Division?

I really thought Larry's comments in his editorial were on the mark regarding the chatter we hear from PMD about being the Performance Division of GM. When I found out the Camaro re-bake was not being accompanied by a faster Firebird or GTO, I really started to have second thoughts. Larry couldn't be more correct about how we potential Pontiac retro muscle car buyers would react to a real retro muscle Pontiac. If PMD doesn't come up with somehing soon, I think a lot of true Pontiac loving people such as me will start wearing red bowties or blue oval belt buckles here shortly.
I took my 2+2 out last night to a local charity event and on the way home a young guy in a Mustang GT decided he wanted to have a piece of the old Poncho. I wish it had been light out so I could have seen his face when that 421 blew the doors off that Pony and walked off and left him sitting! And I'm thinking about driving a Ford...how sad.
I'm still waiting for the hot Pontiac all of us old street rodders are holding out for, but a couple of more misfires by Pontiac will convince me they are the Pufformance Division, not Performance!
I hope PMD has someone watching this, as they sure are missing a big marketing opportunity in my opinion.
If you other Pontiac drivers agree, start making noise and hopefully PMD will wake up and hear us.
