I have a 86 fiero se v-6 with 28,000 original miles on it, problem is it wont idle when cold, have to keep feathering gas pedal to keep it running. after it warms up the engine keeps surging at idle ,the car had been in storage for about 15 years, the previous owner who purchesed it gave up in disgust. now its my problem I have changed seneors and the coumpter, fuel system has been cleaned, timing checked. check engine light is not lit, engine does not always start on the first turn of the key but will start on next try.It runs great on the road but when returning to idle it will die after 2 to 5 min. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED THANKS BILL |

Also look at the cruise vacum can which tends to rot on the bottom and cause a vacum leak. This is mounted on the trunk wall on the drivers side. It looks like a large old time juice can. I have heard of a few folks having goofy idle problems due to this. Rick B _________________ |
