GREAT NEWS!
The PontiacRegistry.com "ALL Pontiac Registry Data Base" is up and operational, nearing 100% capability very soon.
Check the Home Page and click to enter. There you will be able to register ALL your Pontiacs. In a very short while we will have the processes in place for you to post some photos and be able to search and sort by particular year, model, style, engine, etc. This will also become our members' new "Car Profile" replacing the present one that only allows for entering one car.
All visitors to PontiacRegistry.com are invited to register their Pontiac(s), but only our members will have the searching benefits, and the car profile link. This is a huge undertaking that we hope you will all enjoy and benefit from. There is nothing like this anywhere else!

Glad you asked the questions. We have given a lot of consideration to the matter.
Please note that there are no "required" fields that would threaten anyone's security. The ONLY actual required field to "identify" anyone is their e-mail address, and we (and others) neeed some way to be in contact.
As for our members who have their address "on file" so to speak, nobody has access to that other than I and our web techs. And, as we state, no one else will ever see this information. I would advise that if anyone is afraid, just don't register their car.... but don't take it out of the garage (vault) either!
Only our members will have access to the data base, and it is no different than any other club "roster" in that regard (other than that it actually may only have an e-mail address and no other info).
We hope that people will join PontiacRegistry.com for lots of good reasons, this Registry Data Base may be one of them, but it is a lot cheaper than mentioned (maximum cost is like $44.00 for 5-years.. quite a deal!).
Keep asking questions. That is how we learn what you want and how to best accomplish it.

Boy do the folks at this new site, Motortopia.com, need to talk you about the right way to set up an internet site for 'Car People.' They think that they're experienced 'Car People.' Larry, what you've done, and written here, proves that you are an experienced 'car person' .
