super, give larry a shout, he'd be more than happy to have you help out with the car show.
the low car count for the show and race i'm sure is dissappointing, but hell it's only the second year for this event.
haven't talked to him since last weekend, not sure what his plans are for next year yet....

I will give Larry a call. I would like to help him out on the car show next year.

Just started a new job and will probably have no affiliation with a show I hosted for 7 years. It was the largest car show in Crawford county. I have had over 100 cars each year. 135 the previous year.

I know gathering up Pontiacs may be a tough job, but I am up to the challenge. It is really too bad the POCI chapters in Missouri and Illinois don't help with attendance. I know they would like the atmosphere and the event. Need to start early getting these plans together. Larry and his family and friends do one hell of a job, they just need more of us to help out. Word of mouth is the best form of communication.

Congrats on taking me out on Sunday. I cut good lights all weekend, until when it counted most. .501, .505, .505, .511, .512, .524. Cutting the .491 red did not help me any. That is what racing is all about.

Maybe next year. Nice meeting you too. Have to take a little more time and talk to you. You know how it is. BUSY!!

Thanks,
Jeff

That would be great, any help with the show would be greatly appreciated!

I had a bad day racing, the 80 that I race has been having transmission issues for a while now, I got to make one time trial pass and that was it...got to run danny esteps car, went out first round of pro with it though...just wasn't used to it enough.
When you raced the 81 that was me, my brother had been racing it earlier, but had already lost out, so I said what the hell? why not buy back and give it a shot. I haven't foot braked in over a year...sure you could tell my reaction time against you.
Nice meeting you as well, hope to have more time next year!

Have you guys ever attended the Wilhite's race in Kansas? It is a lot of fun. Very good atmosphere much like Sikeston.

The guest speakers Tom and Sharon have are usually great!! They are very professional and more importantly, knowledgeable.

With me starting a new job this past week, I might have to miss out on it this year. Hope not, but I don't want to leave a bad impression with upper management.

Hope you can attend.

Well, hope that some members were able to make the Ark City race. First year I have missed in a while. I will try to get back on track and make 2008 event.

It truely is a great event. The Wilhite's put on a spectacular show.

If any members do attend, how about sharing some photos and details with us.

Thanks!
