I am currently restoring a 70 GTO and I am on the fence if I should powder coat the frame, or just paint it? What have you guys done on your frames and how did you like the outcome?
Thanks |

I painted mine, but powder coated many of the items which attached to the frame, i.e., the inner fenders, rear end, core support ect. We are doing a 63 vette now and are powdercoating that frame. _________________ frank |

waste of money to powdercoat the frame. will not handle road grime on a street car any better. |

Good point, although Powder Coating is nice, I believe a good quality prep and paint job is more user friendly for a street car ! Good luck ! _________________ |
