Some good progress is being made on the Graddy's '65 Catalina. It is great to see the entire family involved in such a project.

Doug, along with his wife and four children have shown a genuine interest in this old Pontiac. It is wonderful to see these younger kids wrenching on the 41 year old Pontiac and learning a great deal from a mechanical aspect as well as many others.

They are on an extremely tight budget, but the progress they have made is amazing. Doug is hoping to bring the '65 out this summer to some local cruise-ins and events. The kids are very excited too.

I am hoping Doug can bring the car to the 2nd Annual "Trail of Tears Rendezous" all-Pontiac event in Sikeston, MO this labor day-2007. I want to see what the heavy Pontiac will run in the 1/8-mile. Doug is ready to find out how well it will perform. Maybe by then he will have the limited-slip differential installed.

We will see what happens. Great to see someone taking interest at such an early age.
