The previous person's answer may be correct, however it also looks like the dash from a 1954 Pontiac that I had, so you can probably safely assume it will fit 1949-1954 Pontiac cars, but definately not later.

Logged a lot of hours behind the massive wheel of the Mighty '54! I have to agree that this instrument cluster is in the '49 to '52 range. The 1948 was still a "bowtie" shape like my '40 and the '54 had smaller gauges under the speedometer as in the brochure picture I've attached.
