Hi All
I'm after a harmonic balancer for my 1954 star chief. It's a straight 8 with power steering.
Mine is making some horrible rattling noises and needs replacing.
Any suggestions or sources are welcome.
Thanks
Leon

Should be an easy find.

Check our suppliers listed under "AFFILIATES" then "Pontiac Parts."

Kurt Kelsey, California Pontiac Restoration, Then & Now, etc.

Also check into Kanter in NJ and Midwest Auto Parts in Grand Rapids, MI. You can find them, on-line with a search.

There are lots of mechanical parts still around today for those older cars.

seems like this part is hard to get as almost all parts places don't have one. Mine is the 2 pulley version. Never tried Kurt Kelsey, but had it repaired instead.
Sounds like a different car now.
Thanks guys
Leon

Well, that's good news. These older Pontiac parts are getting rare as hen's teeth.

You might want to investigate a new commercial supplier who has just joined in giving our members a discount. it is NOS Parts From the Past.

Check under "AFFILIATES" then "Member Discounts" and "Pontiac Parts." They have lots of good stuff for GM cars and trucks.
