is 1942 as rare as I think?

I have a 1942 pontiac 2 door. it has number 214 on vin plate. is this a rare car? the interior is really nice and has stainless trim all over. how do I find out how rare this car is. I tried to do a vin search with no luck.
Any help would be great!!!

Yes, a '42 anything is rare. Civilian auto production ended in February of 1942, giving only about 4 months of production for the model year. Talk to Fed Lewis about his 42. He drives it all over the place. It would not surprise me to discover that half the miles on his car have come in the last 35 years since I have known him.
