The info in all the forums is from way back when. Need to delete material more than two years old. Just my opinion. Jim. |

Lots of work.... so little time (and help).
Your suggestion is well taken and on our list of things to do. _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |

I have to disagree. Things like how to replace a trunk floor, how I solved this problem, etc, never really get out of date.
I understand that there is a time when you might need to cut down due to server space needs, but other than that having the old stuff around is good, in my opinion.

The old post are a good reference for the most part. I have viewed over many of them and found helpful information. |

I too have found that good info never gets outdated. But in defence of the original question, I seriously will try to find some time to weed through and delete simple items that don't contribute.
I have heard stories, over the years, of people who responded to an old ad they stumbled across in a very outdated publication.... and connected with a deal. It does happen sometimes. _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |

I agree...keep the older posts out here. For those of us newer joiners, the information is so helpful. Can't tell you the number of times I have browsed thru the various topics to read about the experience of others that relates to a project that I had just recently started. Where would all that good info be if deleted? |

(hit 'submit' before I was done!)...I also like the feature that allows you to just view recent posts since the last log in. I use that a lot, but value the previous/old posts the most. |
