Good News for PMD
Pontiac seems to be making a slight comeback in sales of new vehicles! Sales figures for this past June show Pontiac leading GM with 28.7 % increase over May of '06 and a wopping 12.1 % over June sales of '05.

G6 sales are up 39.9 % for the first 6 months of '06
Torrent, the cross-over SUV, is up 35% over May '06. Coming this Fall is the 260 H/P GXP Solstice. $5,000 over the standard Solstice, Pontiac will have a mini-rocket! Sales for the model's introduction is over 15,200!

Finally, the rumors about the end of PMD may go away, but Pontiac still needs more quality models to choose from. G6 and Solstice isn't enough to carry the marque. We will see relatively soon, a Chevy Cobalt re-badged "G5"

Also, check the article in the On-Line Magazine from Down Under Pontiac Lover, Dave Clee, about the possible introduction of more Holden high performing rear wheel drive cars by Pontiac. Can you see a VE Commodore? Check it out. Hopefully we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, and it ain't a train.... rather a rear wheel drive V8!
