1963 Tempest origins

Hi members,

I am trying to trace the history of a 1963 Tempest 2dr coupe. The car was originally purchased in Marion, Ohio as a 4cyl. The car was gold in color from the factory, but later received another paint job.

Once it left the dealership, the car was converted to a 421 super duty with a manual transmission. A Dana 44 leaf spring rearend replaced the original transaxle unit.

It has only 7,000 original miles. The car was painted blue and a fiberglass hoodscoop was added. even the interior was converted to blue.

I want to find out where this car was raced and some of its history.
