In the past, I have listed some interesting Pontiacs I have found on Craig's List. There are actually several good deals out there. Anything from parts to project cars to restored cars.

Hope this info is helpful to fellow members. Some are very good bargains. How about a 1969 428 block with rods, pistons and original heads (heads rebuilt several years ago) for $175 OBO? I think I might swing by Barnhart, MO just to have.

I have been watching an original 1964 GTO (389 (I believe tri-power car) 4-speed) drop in price every couple of weeks. I went to look at this car about 2 or 3 months ago. It has a 428 in it with tri-power set up. Original 4-speed car. Currently has another 4-speed in it, but the original rebuildable unit goes with the car. The 428 was completely rebuilt a few years ago by a professional company.

Car has a very nice black paint job. New tires, etc. Interior is in excellent condition. The only thing it needed was a headliner. With a little work, and I mean very little, you could have a show car or great driver.

$15,000 was the original price and he said it was firm. It has quickly decreased in price and is now $11,000. You could probably pick it up for $10,000 or less with cash. If that is what you like, there is no way you could build it for that.

Take a look at the site sometime. You will find several good deals.

The '64 GTO just sold today. I knew it was a great deal.

My friend Scott called and the owner said a guy came to pick it up on a trailer at about 2p.m. this afternoon.

Wonder if he let it go for $9000 or $10,000? The new owner got a good deal on a classic Pontiac.
