If you do a Google search for "Automotive Woodworking" you will find a wealth of books on the subject and a number of places specializing in that sort of work. Perhaps there is someone near you. Many people in the hobby have sought out the help of a very good old-timer local woodworker with great results.

As for the early parts you need, parts cars are pretty scarce, but perhaps Kurt Kelsy, California Pontiac restoration, Then and Now, or Brake and Equipment Warehouse can help. They all deal with some of the older cars. They are also PontiacRegistry.com Commercial Suppliers Affiliates giving our members a nice discount. Certainly try them first.

Keep us posted. We want to know what is going on with the older Pontiacs
