This information was sent on to me by a fellow Futurliner associate. I haven't seen the car myself and I don't have an interest, but maybe someone else would be interested. Paul
Paul, Kurt approached me in church yesterday about this car. I told him I would pass it along to you in the Pontiac Club. You may not be interested but perhaps you can pass it along to others in the Pontiac Club. Don
Don,
A couple of weeks ago, I stumbled across a 1939 Pontiac Chief, that a guy was planning to restore. Since then, he called me and said that he wanted to get rid of it. It looked pretty solid to me, but then again, I have never done a ground up restoration. If you know of someone that may be interested, the guy's name is Gord Burns. He lives on 64th, just north of Port Sheldon here in Hudsonville. The car is setting out behind his barn. His cell phone is 616-443-1571. Anyway, I don't have either the time, money, or the knowhow to do it myself, but I hate to see a good car waste away, so if you know someone that may be interested feel free to pass this on. Thanks
Kurt
Sincerely,
Kurt Gernaat
