Thanks!
Still running as hard as it'll go, just not quite as fast since it's been heating up lately.
We've had the car for 2 years now, still haven't adjusted anything suspension wise since we bought the car. It's still the same way the previous owner had it set up.
I've got no complaints with it at all, very rarely will it drift down track.
We will probably be running Saturday night, they are having 5000 to win foot brake and 2000 to win SP.
Should be a fairly large car count. _________________ Thomas Horn

I need to drag out my '74 for events like that. I actually like the tree at Sikeston, although it is different from other tracks. I have always cut good lights on it.
Hope you guys do good. Next weekend I will be working at Holcim cement plant right off Interstate 55. Scott may make it. We have been discussing going to Sikeston Saturday, spending the night, and then racing at Benton the next day. Save a little on fuel. Two days of racing too. |

We had a blast! None of us made the 16 though. I was 2 hundredths from being in, the picked a 10.2 class. Saturday the car was running 10.4x's. Larry Cooper and Jim Davis were running mid 9's, Danny Estep was in the 9.2x's. Chris Shinook (sp) was running 10.xx's. There were a couple other All Pontiac cars as well. We were way outnumbered by the Fords, Nopars, and Chebbys...
Would have been cool if one of us would have gotten in, but there was a storm coming in and they were rushing things like crazy! The cars in the 16 may have had a couple minutes cool down time from when they started running. It was nuts!
Now back to normal bracket racing and getting ready forl Norwalk! _________________ Thomas Horn
