Hi Everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself to all the members. My name is Paul Beavens ,poncho or ponchopaul to my friends. I am from PA and am without a doubt an absolute Pontiac Nuts! I started out with a 1971 1/2 Ventura II Sprint which I have logged many miles on and at least 2 engines ,had a 64 GTO ragtop and have progressed to the full sized cars with a 64 Bonneville Brougham and 64 Grand Prix. I am also a person that respects Pontiacs long history for excellence as well as a lover of our parent car the Oakland. By the way I have 2 Oaklands as well 1 being a 1929 Job 8800 coupe and the 2nd being a Job 30359 Standard Sedan. I am happy to be here with you all and hope to extend my friendship to more like minded folks through this site. Oh and one more addition to my collection is my 1959 series 100 GMC shortbox wideside pickup. Anyway I hope to get to know you all and look forward to enjoying this site with you all Paul |

Paul,
Welcome to Pontiac Registry. You did fail to post pictures of your other cars though, and we would greatly appreciate your effort in doing so.
I love the '64s and am currently restoring a '64 Bonneville convertible. I have a '64 Catalina factory 4spd convertible bench seat car, and a couple of '64 parts cars.
BTW, you can check out some of my cars at my website www.clearcreekrestorations.com
And yes, Larry does a great job with the website. As a technical advisor for Pontiac Registry, please feel free to contact me any time if you have questions on your '64s or paint and body work.

Welcome PonchoPaul! Can you post a photo of the GMC? It's hard to find photos/stories of the oldtimers. |
