I have a 64 GP 389 with the slim jim Auto and want to know if a 65 389 engine that came with a standard trans. will bolt to the slim jim transmission. Any help would be appreciated Thanks ED

It will fit right in without a problem. The only thing that you will have to do is modify the throttle linkage.
