posi rear

I need a posi rear third member for a 63 GP.Does any one know what years will fit and if any other make or model will fit.

The Hollander Interchange Manual lists all full-size '63 Pontiacs as well as '63 Olds (except F-85) as interchangable (in reference to the entire assembly less brakes and backing plates).
It also shows something I don't quite understand, but will pass along. It referes to another unit "with flange" that will fit. This widens the interchange to '59-62 Olds (except F-85) and '59-62 Pontiac. I do not know, however, what this "flange" is in reference to. A good visual check and measurements won't hurt. It also mentions no necessary differences to switching units if posi or non-posi.
Any other input would be appreciated, especially if someone has actually plowed this ground already.

Good luck finding one. I have been looking for a coulpe of years. You see them pop up on ebay, but be prepared to spend $400 up for a good Saf-T-Trac rear pumpkin for a 1963 B body.
