I laughed when I saw the title of this thread. It's so true, but I must say it is getting more and more active and guys like you that have posted some pretty interesting threads and responses will truly bring it to life.
I spend most of my time on the Pennock's Fiero board, but now I know I'll be watching this board much more frequently. |

This is my virtual way of doing that which I cannot afford to do in reality, and that is, travel all over the world, meeting fellow car enthusiasts.

I am amazed at the growth this club has already shown. To be quite honest, I did not really go to this area of the website for some time.
I am glad I did now. There are some very interesting topics. I share a lot of the same thoughts as some of you.
I got tired of the politics in many areas of the car hobby. This is really the first club or internet site I have been a part of. I enjoy it very much.
I like networking with other people. I have always been suprised at how helpful people are in the Pontiac hobby. My love for Pontiacs started at about 5 years of age. At age 36, I am very proud to be a part of this site and have an even greater appreciation of different cars and owners than ever before.
My father and one of my best friends, got me involved in this hobby. My father stepped out for many years, but the bug has hit him once again. We are both trying to pass down this great hobby to younger kids in our area and my nephews are all die-hard Pontiac people now.
Over the years, I have really expanded my likes for different Pontiacs. I was brought up around the four original 421 super duty cars my father raced in the 70's and 80's. I have the upmost respect for these cars and truely appreciate them.
Trans-Ams were also a big part of my youth. I never could afford one as a kid, but now that I am older, my dream has come true...Twice!!!! I own an original 455SD Trans-Am and a 1999 30th Anniversary T/A. The past 6 or 7 years have been really tough, but it was well worth it.
I purchased a '63 Tempest because of the memories it brought back to me when I was a kid. I gave this car to my father as a gift when he turned 56. This is what got thing going again for dad. We are currently building a '74 T/A racecar. My five nephews are very involved as well.
I have always liked Fieros too. I have owned three and enjoyed every one of them.
As membership grows, I am sure this forum will become even more interesting. It has been very fun so far.
I would like to give Larry a special thanks for all the hard work he has put in to this site. It is probably the best source ever for our hobby and there are many great minds and contributors. Making a lot of new friends and great connections too.

Hi Jeff and others,
My goal for many years has been to build the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world... for ALL Pontiacs, and ALL Pontiac hobbyists.
Seems like a big job, but togetjher we can all make it happen. While some still like curling up with a paper magazine, this internet capibility allows us to do so much more, so much faster, and for less money. Remember to print out and organize the On-Line Magazine articles to build your own Pontiac Information Archive.
Thanks everyone for all their support and contributions!

Heck!!! How can you beat this club. $12.95 a year is an unbelievable deal.
I guarantee this forum will grow and improve very quickly. The best thing we can do is network and help Larry get more membership. Word of mouth is the best communication form. We all know this. I am sure many others would like to contribute to this forum if they knew about it.
With this club only being in existance for less than a year, I think it is doing great. I enjoy the quickness of articles, the ability to run unlimited classified ads and the ability to post events. It is a great way to communicate with other Pontiac enthusiast. No waiting time here!!!
We all have channels to show our own Pontiac experiences. Lots of great articles, lots of great cars and even more great people. There are literally hundreds of years experience at our finger tips. Hopefully I have helped out some of you and I have been helped in return too.
Lets make this a great area to communicate with others. Help spread the word. Every membership Larry gains adds another touch of uniqueness to this club. Be it a new member with tons of experience or a beginner just getting started in the hobby, it is all beneficial.

I had responded to a fellow who had posted in the forum covering the early Lemans/Tempests his concern of a lack of interest in these little Pontiacs. I invited him to share his stories or experiences.... boy, did he ever! I received a big article about his '62 Lemans complete with tear-down and rebuild photos and information. I am presently preparing it into a multi-part article for our On-Line Magazine.
There are a lot of great Pontiac hobbyists out there who will contribute and enjoy.
Thanks, everyone, for all their help and support!
