Don,

As you probably already know the Bonneville Bougham was the more luxurious version of the base Bonneville - which was still the top of the Pontiac line. A little Brougham motiff on the back roof panel identified the car from standard models.

The Brougham came std with the 360 hp YH coded 428 engine with a Rochester Q-jet (as did all Bonnevilles)

A 390 hp version was an option.

The Brougham came in 3 styles; 4 door hardtop, 2 door coupe and a convertible. A std Bonneville also came as a 4 dr sedan with a center pillar.

I don't know the production numbers for each but there were only 5438? total convertibles, how many were Broughams is unknown to me. Pontiac Historical society may be able to help.

The Broughams did have different seats than the standard Bonnevilles with a square pattern.

After that it is pretty much up to whatever options are on the car. Remember that cars were much more customized back then. Standardized option packages had not become the norm as yet. Most Broughams probably had a/c, power windows, locks, and seats. A premium radio w/ Verbra-Phonic speakers , a power antennae and cruise control would also have been fairly normal.

Within a couple of years the Bonneville Brougham was de-emphasized and the Granville became the top of the line Pontiac.

As for parts. First the bad news. Our big cars are not loved like the GTO's and Firebirds. There just isn't the aftermarket for the B-bodies.
Now the good news. Fortunately they made alot of these cars and some still survive in various states of repair or condition although you won't find many after all these years in good shape.

Ames Performance, Smoke Signals magazine thru the POCI.org, and junk yards are your best bet. Steve Barack in AZ with Pontiac Heaven is another option.

Hope this helps.

There is a fellow in Pomona, Ca who has full size Pontiacs available for parts, etc.. His web page is Pontiacclassics. com. He is on ebay occassionally. His name is Jon and his tele. is listed on the web page. I've gotten several big car parts from Jon, and he usually has a lot of cars available.
