Hi, does anyone have a picture of how the steering connecting rod springs, spacers etc are installed ?
The picture in the shop manual is not clear.

If you send me a fax number or snail mail address, I can send you the exploded view from the parts manual. For some reason, my computer refuses to recognise the existance of my scanner, so I can't scan it and email it to you. |

I can't wait to tell you that one of the completed Service Manuals in our new ,b.On-Line Reference Library,/b. is the 1949-54 Pontiac Manual.
There you will find a complete section there on steering.
Just click on "On-Line Reference Library" under the "MEMBERS" heading, or click on the info block on the home page telling about the library.
This is our newest service to our members, and we are excited to have you take advantage of it.... a FULL manual at your fingertips!! How cool is that?! |
