Re-Silver mirror

My Dad is working on the interior of his 1969 GTO and needs the rear view mirror re-silvered. Any suggestions????

I just did a Google search of "auto mirror resilvering" and found a boat load of places doing it. Many/most also list automotive rear view mirrors. It looks like it runs about $40.00 on the average.

I guess it will be a matter now of checking to see if possibly there is one near you, and/or calling to discuss and see who you feel most comfortable with.

One thing they all seem to mention is that they only want the glass and not the rest of the mounting, etc. Might need to check into that with them too.
