In Canada you could order 283 327 396 427 chevy motors in all full size cars. In 1966 my friend in Sackville New Brunswick ordered a StratoChief 396-325 4 speed white 2 door sedan.. much the same idea as big block Biscayne etc. Ever see a Canadian Pontiac with 427 power? There were lots of Pariesienne, Laurentian,StratoChiefs with big block power.. I had a 1967 Pontiac Beaumont Sport Deluxe Conv. w/ 396-325 1 of 602 produced built off Chevelle chassis with GTO dash.. Don't forget the early 60's full size Canadian Pontiacs with 409s. They are rare and awesome.
