How many of our mermbers are attending the Ame's Pontiac Nationals in Ohio this year?
I would imagine this will put a crunch on some of us as far as fuel cost. Last year I thought it would hurt the events attendance, but they had a record turn out.
As always, I am looking forward to the event. I really enjoy this race-car show. There are no events like it in the U.S.A. if you ask me. I plan to attend as a spectator this year. It will give me more time to enjoy the entire event.
As far as a great time, I would put the race at Sikeston up there with the Ame's event. It is small scale, but is ran with a high level of professionalism. If you get a chance to go, I would highly recommend it. |

I'm getting excited already!
We (wife and I) were planning on going to the All GM Nationals in Carlisle the end of this month, but with a jaunt to Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge, TN last weekend, we decided to stay put for a while.
After speaking with Pete Woodruff the other day of Super Duty Promotions, he guaranteed me that we would get more Pontiac bang for the buck at Norwalk. So that fits the plans better... save a little coin before then to flush through the gas tank.
See you all in Norwalk!

I am also planning on attending, but without my 63 GP and plan to spend more time observing the car show and drags. Had a great time last year, but with a car in the show spent more time with the car and did not get to see as much. I already have my reservations for camping and tickets for the entire weekend. I will be staying in Site #9, same that I had last year just next to the Car Coral along the fence so will be able to watch the drags from my MH. Look me up if interested.
I also have several old friends from Ohio that will be out to visit and see the show. I just attended the GoodGuys show in Indy. and on Friday there were a lot of cars from IL, MO, MI, OH, KY and of course IN. The highest registration # I saw was 2852, not sure if all cars registered were there but they paid for registration. It rained on Saturday and the event was cancelled and on Sunday I could not make it for the flooded areas in Columbus, IN. but expect a lot of people left on Saturday to return home.

I can't wait for Norwalk. It has been the best Pontiac event in the country for many years. |
