Car Show a Success!

For those who have beeen seeing the car show ad for our Rhythem & Ribfest event down here in Florida, it happened today and was a great success. For a first time event (the car show) at the Ribfest (only its second year), we had over 70 cars show.

The morning started out with a few very short drizzles, but hardly worth even wiping off, and the day worn on to a beautiful Florida spring day.

The Pontiac representation was good too with a beautiful '58 Star Chief 2-door hardtop, a '64 GTO coupe, a super red '68 Firebird convertible, a '78 and '81 husband and wife pair of Trans Ams, and a white with blue '73 Trans Am.

The three day Ribfest is 100% to benefit the United Community Center in Bradenton, FL for the kids in the community. Interestingly, it was founded over 75 years ago by Elenore Roosevelt.

We are very happy with our car friends and all their support for such a good cause. We are hoping that every one of our members have an equally great car show season. Summer's right around the corner and all signs are positive!
