On September 30, 2007, Pontiac Fiero owner Christopher Sass and his oldest son Zachary of Highland, Michigan attended the United Street Machines of Michigan Veterans Car Show. The show took place at the VFW Post in Commerce, Michigan. Zachary has been helping get the Fiero ready and attending car shows for the past eight years, since he was four years old. Christopher said, "Zachary gets upset when we aren't awarded a trophy, but today we got lucky and received a Sponsor's Choice Award. We've received at least one trophy for every year that we've shown the car. Participating in car shows with my son is enjoyable and teaches him about Pontiacs and cars in general...except he has his sights set on a Plymouth Road Runner Super Bird. I keep telling him to start saving his money." |

Starting the kids off early is a good practice. Here is Keagen, my youngest working on the '64 Bonneville convertible I'm currently restoring.

Great story! Christopher Sass has written some helpful articles for NIFE (Northern Illinois Fiero Enthusiasts) including one I used recently to upgrade my solid front rotors to vented discs on my '87 Fiero GT. Seems like a solid Pontiac citizen! |

"WOW" just scratches the surface.
Check the grille closely and I think you'll find it is a '47.
'42 has some vertical pieces on the two sides; '46 has more horizontal pieces; and '48 has the famous "floating piece" at the top of the grille bar stack.
You sure don't see any '46s or '47s around much anywhere anymore.
Was that Pontiac powered? |
