Don't miss this race guys. It is a hard-hooking 1/8-mile facility. Very nice outlaw track.

Is Larry getting more help and volunteers for the event this year? I have some young nephews who would probably love to lend a helping hand.

I can help distribute flyers for the race and car show. I would be more than happy to do so.

Hope the race gets great reviews and tremendous support. We should be thankful to Larry Cooper, his family and friends and the staff of Sikeston for putting on such a great event in 2006.

Wanted to remind everyone about the race and the car giveaway. Be sure to keep your calenders open for Labor Day Weekend.

Hope to see many of you all there!!

Larry has been promoting the car a lot the last few weekends at the Sikeston Dragstrip. Should be raising quite a bit of money for it.

There will be test and tune on friday nights starting at 6 and running till 10, then on saturday is the normal bracket program, gates open at 3 (usually open before that) time trials at 5, and racing around 8.
Come on out, there are plenty of places to stay in sikeston, (see below) or you can even camp out at the track

Here's a few good places you could stay in town. The track isn't very far at all from any of these.

I hope all Pontiac Registry members have the oppurtunity to attend this event. I know they will be impressed by the track facility. I bet it is the hardest hooking track in Missouri. I do not even think tracks in Illinois compare to the Sikeston facility.

A great variety of cars attended the first year too. I was amazed at the attendance.

Hope some other PR. members get to try out their Pontiacs on the track or get involved in the car show.

Shortly after this race, I hope everyone gets to go to Ark City, Kansas for the race hosted by Tom and Sharon Wilhite. You will not meet a better group of people. Great race and great car show. It is the first weekend in October and the weather is generally beautiful. Don't miss it.
