Remember back in the 50s, you could buy chrome decor items for your car--fake portholes to make it look like a Buick; chrome fins to make it look like a Cadillac; blue dot taillights to make it look "cool"; stars, and other shapes, mud flaps, mirrors, curb feelers--and on and on? Suddenly it is 1950 again. I saw a Chrysler 300 with fender skirts, and portholes on the fender that looked like he might have ripped off a new Buick! Not all things nostalgic are GOOD!!! |

While traveling through (most of) New York this past week we spotted what was probably a PMD test car. It appears that Pontiac is jumping on the porthole band wagon and trying to carry it to a whole new level.
You judge for yourself it you think it will catch on!
Actually it is probably an access door to the fan blower motor. |
