The Annual New Car Auto Show held in New York City, features some of the most exotic factory show cars. I'm bringing the camera, a large handfull of PR.com fliers, and I'll report on the Pontiac exhibit

"Pontiac G8 – This concept version of the 2008 production car reinforces Pontiac’s commitment to style and performance. The V8-powered rear-wheel-drive sedan will be available in dealerships early next year. The G8 is the first North American application of GM’s new global rear-wheel-drive architecture developed by Holden, GM’s Australian subsidiary. The show car takes the heart of the production GT model: a 362-horsepower, 6.0-liter engine."

Pontiac G6 GXP -- Pontiac previews its 2008 G6 GXP. This high-performance variant joins the popular Solstice GXP, affirming Pontiac's commitment to progressive design and balanced performance. The G6 GXP broadens the G6 lineup with performance and style not typically found in the midsize segment. G6 GXP models receive a sophisticated, 3.6L DOHC V-6 with variable valve timing that produces approximately 252 horsepower. The engine is backed by a six-speed automatic transmission, performance-tuned suspension, 18-inch wheels and specific exterior and interior appointments.
