Seeking Information for 1980 Pontiac Sunbird Formula W.66

I was hoping that any one might be able to pass along any info on this vehicle that was featured in the January magazine ? Larry mentioned a member possibly seeing literature recently. If anyone could share tech info, or know the whereabouts of parts and/or litrerature please contact myself at my e.mail address, I would greatly appreciate this. This is one of 358 cars sold in Canada and is already registered to attend two car-shows this spring. I'm sure it's up to the trip, but hope we don't encounter any mechanical or body failures.(kerbumble-ments) .....Thanx.

My friend has a Pontiac brochure for the entire line-up of 1979 or 1980 cars. It had a photo of a Sunbird Formula.

Is this car specific to only Canada? I am refering to the W-66. I am going to try and send the ad to Larry so he can post.

It may not be specific to your car, but it still an interesting ad for a very interesting car. I own a 1980 Sunbird hatchback with the 2.5. I really enjoy these cars. My parents owned a 1979 with the 2.5 and manual transmission. Mine is an automatic.

I was also around a tube chassis 1980 Sunbird. My father raced for Selden Ruwwe, a big Pontiac collector and drag racer. He built a beautiful '80 Sunbird years ago. I have pictures of it posted in my personal photo gallery on this site. "super."
