As stated in another thread, I went to the 9th Annual SCC POCI Show n Shine at David J Phillips Pontiac in Laguna Hills today. It was a great day and a great show. I've posted some pictures from the show in my personal album located in the photo gallery. Just click on the Photo Gallery link, then Users Personal Galleries at the bottom of the page, then my screen name 87_FieroGT.

Enjoy!

Learned something new today. I did not realize the site had a personal gallery. Enjoyed the photos you posted. I especially liked the full-size '68 convertible. Different! Good looking car. Thanks for sharing them.

Jeff

If I ever get a new computer or one that has the correct capabilities, I have tons of cool photos to share, old and new. Right now, I am building a shop though to house my hot rods. May be a while.

Thanks again,
Jeff

Thanks for the reminder bump! I too had forgotten about that area of the PR.com website.

2 things:

Arrow Wangers 69 Judge with the Argent Torque thrust wheels is pictured at speed on the January Page of the Muscle Car Calendar my wife bought me for Christmas. Did you happen to get any pics of the wheels/tires that would show the size wheels and tires? Thinking of something simular on our 67 Goat.

Arrow Razz Speaking of 67 Goats, thanks for the large format photos of the Red 67 Goat and engine bay. Nice to see what the California emmissions system (Air Pump, etc.) looks like...and other details are appreciated.

Keep posting!

Sorry, I didn't get any pictures of the wheels. Jim was there though, sitting next to the car. You can see him in the background with the white hat on.

It's funny you mention the 67 Goat. That was my favorite of the show. What a beauty! It is now the wallpaper on my computer.

I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures.

Thanks for posting all those photos in your gallery. While the '67 was super, I had to wipe the schlobber off the screen from that '60 Bonneville... SWEET! What a beauty!
Some of our members aren't familar with some of the many things that you can do on the site. Please, don't anyone be afraid to mention some of these features. And, if anyone wants any help walking through some of the items, please just yell. Any of us would be happy to help.
Question: Is there a special story about the name "Jessica" for your Fiero. That's my oldest daughter's name, so it obviously draws my attention.
Thanks,
Larry

Well, my wife thinks I named her after Jessica Alba (Dark Angel, Fantastic 4)

I insist that is NOT the case. I really don't know where the name came from. I just like the name and it seems to fit. A pretty name for a sexy car. That's about it. Thanks for asking though.

My oldest daughter was named after Jessica Walters when she was hot back in the early '70s. Remember her first big movie? "Play Misty for Me" with Clint Eastwood?
My daughter was really steamed with her mom and I when she learned at about age 16 or so where her middle name came from, "Bree". Remember Jane Fonda in the movie "Clute" with Donald Sutherland? She was Bree Daniels. We loved the name, but admit it might have been a bad choice naming her after anything associated with Jane Fonda, but when she learned that Bree Daniels was a prostitute..... Kapow!
She has gotten over it, but rarely uses the name. I still like it. We learned after much searching that Bree is a derivative (nickname?) from England for Bridgitt.
Name problems? Don't even ask about our dog, Garth Brooks!

Now that I learned about the personal gallery in the photo portion of the site, I placed some photos of my Pontiacs and close friends.

It is a great feature for members. I never realized it was there. I am sure I will learn lots of new things throughout my membership.

I have a good mix of Nostalgia photos, old Pontiacs, new Pontiacs, etc. Hope you guys get a chance to check it out.

Thanks,
Jeff

Can't believe what you are doing to that '74 "Project Car". Talk about "vision" seeing past what it was to what you want it to be. It looked like something the Ballard Expedition would have pulled up from the Titanic!

I have several other photos to post. We are a lot farther than the photos I posted. It actually looks like a racecar now. It sucks the weather being so nasty. It has slowed up my father and I a little bit.

Our biggest hold up is coming from the fiberglass company in Canada. We have paid for the product, but they have not came through yet. We are starting to get a little aggrevated. Close to $3000.00 in fiberglass parts. Hood, doors. valance panel, spoilers, trunk, etc. Once we get this stuff, we can test fit the panels and get the wheel tubs finished along with the rest of the interior sheetmetal.

I TIG welded the firewall in, finished springing the Ford 9-inch rearend under it (the first rearend I narrowed)and have the brakes and frontend assembled. You would not believe how many times I have assembled and disassembled this thing!

I will post some more photos on the site this next week or so. It should be awesome when we get it finished. My old man is an ace at this stuff. I know it will run like a striped a@@ ape when it is finished. We got Scott's '65 running mid-9's with basic parts. Hard telling what this thing will do!

Hope you have a great weekend Larry. Liked the personal gallery. Kind of filled mine up with a little bit of everything. I am proud of who got me interested in Pontiacs. I owe my dad and Selden a lot. I guess you could say these guys are my heros!

I have some other old nostalgia photos I would like to post. I have some other good photos of my cars too. Hope you don't mind.

Jeff
