1966 Lemans

In February 2006 I purchased a 1966 Pontiac LeMans Sprint. The first thing I did was completely re-do the suspension and replaced the tires and wheels.

The engine, the OHC 6, was completely rebuilt with several modifications:
We had a header built for it, added electronic ignition and a aluminum radiator.

I made a color change from Candlelight Cream to Martinique Bronze. On
January 9, 2007 it was ready to show even though it is only about 90% complete.

I have posted four pictures in the Photo Gallery - Let me know what you think!

What can you say after WOW!!
That is beautiful. And that exhaust header.... that's not some simple, homemade job. Somebody did their homework on that one!
How about a story of your work and some more photos and we'll feature your car in our On-Line Magazine for everyone to enjoy.
Thanks for sharing.

Great looking car. What is the primary size on the headers? They look huge in the photo. Very much so a work of art.

I would be interested in the rest of your engine combination. What does the OHC run like?

Nice to see unique and different things that are not the norm. Larry's site is great for giving these unique rides credit. This is what makes this site so great.

Hopefully we can see more on the build up of your great looking poncho.

Jeff

Beautiful car! I like the color and those headers are sweet.

Welcome to PR.
