Anybody know where I can get the rear defogger cover plate and gasket for
66 Tempest , LeMans , GTO.

I searched all the repo parts houses I can think of... no luck.

Try E-bay. This one looks pretty close. Search for:
RARE 1960'S GM FACTORY REAR DEFOG REAR DEFROSTER OEM METAL GRILLE WORKS

Chances are you will have to buy an entire unit.
