The 1937 through 1940 sixes were all 222.7 cubic inches. I would assume they would all fit. Wish I still had my six out of my '40 for you. It was completely rebuilt, probably about 8,000 miles put on it, and then sat for 30 years. I was going to pull it (installed a 400 V when I got an inquire for a '40 six. I got it fired back up... purred like a kitten! I sold it for $1,200 and $250.00 to crate.
After I gave the price I learned it was going to the United Arab Emirate for a '40 Woodie wagon. Probably some oil sheik who would have paid ten times that!
You might check with Windy Hill, French Lake, or RPM Motorsports, all in Minnesota. They all handle old cars. Other than that, you will probably only find privately from someone doing a restored like I did.
Good luck! _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |
