Ames Performance is proud to announce it's new acquisition of Performance Years Pontiac!

That's right! By the time you have a chance to read this, the merger between the two most profound, ALL Pontiac restoration companies will be complete. Over the past few months, PY owner Chris Casperson has been working diligently with Ames owners Kevin Beal and Don Emery to discuss the future of both companies within the industry. A decision was reached, that PY would better serve the wholesale side of the industry leaving the retail to Ames Performance.

PY, a distinguished supplier in the industry, will now focus solely on manufacturing desirable Pontiac reproductions under the name Max Performance. Ames will now be the only, exclusive one stop shop for Pontiac restoration needs. It was agreed, by both parties, that this was the best decision to support the entire classic Pontiac restoration hobby. One thing for sure is we will continue to give our customers the best Ames experience possible with our high level of customer service, quality parts and fair pricing.

Thank you for your continued support,

The Ames Team

I thought this would be good, Ames does not offer what py did, after communicating with Ames about py's sport steering wheel recast services they told me it was being offered thru max performance, after contacting them was told this would no longer be offered.

I'm not sure they worked everything out or how some things would adversly affect the hobby.

if anyone knows where to get a wheel recast with good quality let me know please.
Thank you
