Working on a '63 GP with 8-lugs and power brakes. Would much prefer to use a later dual-reservoir master cylinder for safety.

Questions: 1) do points-judged shows deduct points for such a conversion?

2. Which master cylinder/prop valve is commonly used in this situation?

Thanks!

cant answer for the JUDGE thought but for the safetyaspect, yea do the dual master. takes a little thought as to fittings and bends but the 67 full size pontiac masters are avalible at nappa for like $30 not real hard to do but the fact that you separate the rear breaks from the front is a good thing. oscodagp63

simple to do and no, concours judging does not deduct for safety improvements like brakes, and seat belts, etc.

Can this also be done for a '62? If so, what power brake booster needs to be used, the '62 or the '67? And, can a 1967 master cylinder be used for a '62 conversion also?
