Yes, the new Cable is longer, but I routed it, no sharp bends, to allow for the extra length. Someone suggested lubricating the new cable. Any thoughts?

I have replaced the Driven Gear that had the end of the shaft melted off by the Cable, replaced the Cable, and now the Head, which started making noise after I replaced the Driven Gear and Cable.
