I have a 1940 Pontiac paint code 91-D Where Can I find a Color chip
for this what is the paint called an what do I ask for at the paint Dealer

The 1940 color code "91D" is shown in the color charts as 2291D (Upper) Ludington Green/ (Lower) Glydon Green.
The Ditzler codes are: DAL-40071 and DAL-40232, respectively.
Perhaps a local store can help you knowing these codes, otherwise, if you contact the people at Autocolorlibrary.com perhaps they can help. Paint chip pages are available from literature dealers, but remember the age when you look at them. |
