I have a 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix project car that started out as a hail damaged rust bucket. Car was factory red with a balck interior, PS, PB, four speed, factory tach and Rally gauges from South Dakota. Was a one owner car when I purchased five years ago. Motor had been rebuilt 19,000 miles ago at the same time the car was converted into an automatic ON THE COLUMN! Thank GOD the left the four speed console in the car! Anyway, it ran but had no exhaust and the brakes did not work. Once I found out how rusty the car was, I decided to "re-body" the car with another non-air Grand Prix body from Oregon. I disassembled the red car and scrapped it holding on to all parts needed to build the car on a rust free base. The car does need a trunk floor however one comes with it, as does all the parts I have for the car. The Cragars are no longer with the car. Mint front clip, good bumpers. The aqua doors on the new body are stone MINT! I have a rebuilt 4 speed and all the clutch stuff needed to get it back on the road, including new pressure plate, clutch plate and throwout bearing. I have all the tined glass as well. PHS'd with window sticker. Clear MN title with Collector Plates. $6,000 FIRM. Contact Les at 651-280-9681 or email me at killerbob33@aol.com |
