Fourth Annual Trail of Tears Pontiac Rendezvous...September

We will be having the Fourth Annual Trail of Tears Pontiac Rendezvous again this year at the Sikeston Dragstrip.
It will be the weekend of September 4-6

Things are going to be done differently in hopes of getting more cars and spectators out to the race...

This year any Pontiac bodied car no matter what type of engine will be allowed to race (going to be ran somewhat like Norwalk)

Also for the Buick and Olds crew, must be a Buick or Olds body...you too will be allowed to run no matter what type of engine.

Larry has postponed/cancelled this due to health reasons.
Will update if and when something changes.

Cancelled for 2009, Larry says it will be back for 2010

I would be more than happy to help with the event. I need to find out if Larry is dead set on this date every year. I would enjoy helping coordinate the car show and bringing in some exhibition cars.

As with anyone, I have had a pretty full plate this year. Had to take care of some family issues, working tons of hours, etc. I would not have been able to commit myself to the project like I wouls like to.

I will try to contact Larry soon.
